Yes it looks okay but what I said was true from my point of view the image being okay and not a disaster is not the point. I guess I may have to go all fucked up and manipulative and post only images that are totally screwed up vs. images that I think are perfect on things that I am not satisfied with to prove a point.

Nope - I hope I am speaking to mostly a discerning audience and post what I think will show people what I am talking about vs just bad or just good. This image is okay the highlights are blocked a bit and hoped to show what I was talking about with a raw but decent scan - take a look at the highlights in the eyes and the finger nails with the same degree of specularity - it goes blocked up really quick - not a fault of the dynamic range of the scanner that was compensated for that is the abrupt transition to no more detail.

I guess the thing to show would be a really horrible image, I guess I could make it that way if you want sound bites and not see things for yourself?
