Some additional perceptive here based on a couple of questions and may help you get a better idea of what I am talking about.

When looking at the 100% crops what you are looking at is the equivalent of an image about 9 23″ Cinema displays high and 4 or 5 23″ cinema displays wide from about a foot away if you can imagine that.

As some one pointed out I mentioned a replacement for APX100 but not for Rodinal.

I actually have a good supply of Rodinal well stored but I have also used ADOX APH09 that is very similar and I have also had really good results with DiXactol
