At some point in the future conversion to DNG might see some usefulness – For myself I have determined that right now there is NO benefit so I do not do it.

In a perfect world DNG would be a single format with all of the required parameters inside that actually provided usefulness – right now the reality is I don’t see wasting the time – every once in a while it can be a work-around for some things but not very often.

I’m trying to integrate DNG into my workflow and am wondering your thoughts on it. Do you think it is useful and where in a workflow would you see it?

Right now I am trying to figure out do I convert everything to DNG, then import into Aperture and do my workflow there, or do I import as .NEF and then export and archive as DNG once I have done all of my selections, etc.
